Purpose and terminology

As a user, you are responsible for the information you share publicly. Do not display the information you do not want to be known on platforms, social media, websites or forums that are displayed publicly and easily accessible. We cannot be responsible for the information you share in this way.

Information we collect

In our activities and provision of services, we collect a series of information that includes:

  • The information you provide us with by registering, setting up your account, billing information you submit and other information provided through the setup of your user account
  • Information provided through email and other support channels of our services as well as information that you send in form of support suggestion and criticism
  • Marketing preference information

We also collect data contained in server log files. The aforementioned data is held for 7 days and deleted afterwards for security reasons. This data is also processed in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR.

Owwwn.com might be inclined to collect the information of end-users if so instructed by our users. Note that solely our users are responsible for all the regulatory obligations that might be connected with the collection of such data. We will not be liable for the data our users collect or request from us to be collected. Should an end-user have issues with the data being collected, we instruct that he/she contacts the website owner directly.

The manner in which we collect the information

The information we collect is acquired in several different manners. Most of it, we collect though your behaviour and preferences showed while using our services. This includes both the settings you choose, preferences that you tend to go for and manner of use collected both directly or through third-party means such as Cookies.

We also collect information that you personally have agreed to provide us with such as emails, personal data, billing information and preferences that you provided within the signup, account information or other forms and Owwwn.com created questionnaires. We also gather information sent to us through email, chat, ticketing system or any other support channel concerning questions, requests praise, criticism suggestions or any other type of written or non-written conversations with the Owwwn.com team, employees and creators.

Where is it stored and who else has access to it

Owwwn.com is responsible for the gathered and stored information. Keeping in mind that one cannot fully guarantee the safety of the data in question, the information is stored and processed by us and our third-party authorized affiliates in a secure and maintained storage location with continual efforts being made to keep your data as safe as possible. It is processed in accordance with the latest mandatory legal regulations and protected using the state of the art security procedures.

Any user information provided within an e-mail contact or request will be processed in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b of the GDPR.

The gathered information is partly or in full shared with our third-party services on a need to know basis. This includes our hosting partners, payment service providers as well as third party software that we use for our support ticketing systems and chat, all of which handle the data in question according to the regulations and security procedures required for such activity.

Should a third party be involved in any process that requires the sharing of user information, we shall take precautionary legal and organizational measures that guarantee the safety of the aforementioned data. Data will be shared with third parties in the following cases:

  • When hiring a subcontractor, the data shall be processed in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b of the GDPR.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a freemium user analytics service that tracks website traffic and reports it. The service is provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) and it uses “cookies” – files stored on your computer which make the analysis of website use possible.

Information gathered through cookies are sent and stored in a US-based Google server, where it is used by Google for the purpose of evaluation of the websites user activity which will be reported to the respective website owner.

We also use Google Analytics to help us advertise to people that have shown interest in the products and services that we offer. The advertisement is conducted through Google-owned services, and the targeted audience is chosen based on their genuine interest in the aforementioned products manifested through their browser search. This way we assure that the advertising is based on user needs and that it is not considered a nuisance.

This service is exclusively used with IP anonymization, meaning that your IP address will be shortened. It is only in exceptional and rare cases that the full IP address will be sent to the US servers and then shortened.

The data collected through this service will not become part of any other data that is in possession of Google.

This data collection and processing is conducted in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR, for it represents a legitimate interest of our company. In addition, Google’s privacy-shield certification guarantees that it will abide by the laws defined in the GDPR.

Google-Marketing-Services policy

Vivid Binaries GmbH uses Google-Marketing-Services in order to better define our targeted audience when it comes to advertising our products and services. This mainly refers to remarketing through Google created services, where remarketing represents sending ads to users that have already shown interest in such products through their browser search and previous visits.

In order to conduct such profiling and targeting Google uses web beacons, code incorporated and initiated through marketing tags upon visiting a website that has Google marketing services activated. This process creates the so-called “Cookie”, a harmless file on your computer that is used for gathering data about your browser activity such as user operating system, browser information, time and date of visit and similar information concerning your visit to the website. The users IP is also collected but in a shortened form. Only in exceptional cases will the IP address be sent in full to the US server and then shortened. These cookies can come from different domains and the user can easily disable and delete them should he choose to.

User data is processed pseudonymously, meaning that only the data relevant to that cookie is being processed. Name, e-mail address or any other data that can be traced back to the user will not be processed. The purpose of these cookies is not to identify the website’s user but to create statistics concerning its usage. With this information, the website owner can offer better services to people that actually need them.

Google-Marketing-Services may use cookies from third-party advertising platforms such as “DoubleClick” and “AdSense”. These cookies enable Google and their third-party partner websites to advertise to users using their visitation data, thus creating useful ads shown to people who have shown genuine interest in the products and services they are presented.

Third-Party Content and Services Policy

In order for us to offer certain third-party content used within our website and products, it is necessary to provide the third parties in question with our users IP address. This IP address is provided only to third parties that use them exclusively for delivering the content in question.

These third parties can also use so-called Web Beacons used to gather browser activity for statistical purposes on the subsites of the website. How we retain your data
